Karuna Training mixes the study of Buddhist Psychology with the practicalities of everyday life. We provide a safe container of experiential learning. The Training is well suited for medical professionals, therapists, teachers, coaches, artists, business managers, and parents.
Karuna means compassion in Sanskrit. Compassion aspires to alleviate the world’s suffering through exchanging self with others. Along the way, we resource ourselves and learn to integrate our experiences to live a more empowered life.
Karuna training draws on the wisdom space of Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism. Graduates of Karuna are empowered to be uniquely skillful in working with their style of wisdom.
Melissa Moore, PhD, is a co-founder of Karuna Training and is currently the Executive Director of Karuna Training North America.
