An Exploration of Love and Life

Facilitated by Sandra Ladley

Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10 - 11 am Mountain Time

FREE - ONLINE

Valentine's Day stirs reflection on love in our lives: we’re in and out of love, in and out of passion and compassion. Love is a moving force that we feel and celebrate yet know so well when we’re longing for it. How are you in the flow of love in your life - personally, in relationships, in community, and in belonging to the family of life on earth? What helps you make loving connections?  In this Karuna Live! we’ll explore how we know love in its many aspects and open to the possibilities of love in our lives.

In Karuna Training, we find strength in the intrinsic openness, wisdom, and compassion that we can tap into as human beings. In this one-hour Karuna Live! introductory session, we’ll have time to explore and contemplate this topic together to help us attune to the force of love in our lives. The program is open to everyone and will include guided meditation, an experience of the Karuna teachings, and a discussion of upcoming Karuna Training offerings.

The word Karuna means compassion in Sanskrit. Karuna Training brings together a community of people who trust the wisdom of the world to awaken our compassionate hearts. We can learn to resource ourselves and integrate our experiences to live a more empowered life. The world needs all of our compassion, health, and wisdom.

For 28 years, Karuna Training has offered time-tested mindfulness and compassion-based programs in Europe and North America.

Sandra Ladley, MA, is a core Karuna Training faculty member. She partnered with Melissa Moore to establish Karuna Training in North America. Sandra received her MA in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University. She is a long-time Buddhist practitioner and teacher, an interdisciplinary artist and activist, and a life-long student. Sandra teaches Buddhist, Contemplative Psychology, and Creative Arts programs internationally. She draws on a breadth of experience as a teacher, counselor, and manager in business, mental health, and creative arts settings to bring vibrancy and engagement to her teaching.
